On site treatment: Initial analysis of the area identifies the contaminants and determines required treatment levels. In high moisture conditions the Achaea system will be applied to accommodate large areas and heavy soil pollution. Lower moisture conditions would require conventional aerobic treatment utilizing windrows and or ploughing for sufficient oxygen to speed up degradation.
Bespoke products: Our R&D facility in Atlanta can turn laboratory bench trials into full scale production projects. Absolute tolerance for pH, temperature and salinity are naturally present in the Archaea treatment process enabling degradation of many substances not achievable before the discovery of Archaea.
Waste streams: Dosing with Archaea concentrate reduces waste and speeds up degradation. Often the normal waste stream will not support the strains of bacteria required resulting in lengthy or ineffectual treatment.
Oil/Water Contamination: Complete removal of oil film and sludge deposits often found in tank bunds and sumps where long term spillage would normally be difficult and costly to clean up.
Bilge water: Ships and tankers can be treated in situ avoiding costly pump out and disposal fees. Archaea will break down the hydrocarbons to a level of compliance that can then be safely discharged to sea.
